Charoite Natural Gemstone Beads #10-210
NATURAL Charoite BEADS Approx 15.5'' STRAND
Charoite has only been discovered recently. It is a rare variety of silicate mineral that found exclusively in Russia, in the Sakha Republic in Siberia near the Murun Mountains. It is said that the terrain and weather in this region are so difficult that miners must be flown into the site by helicopter! While some suggest that charoite is named after the Chara River in Siberia, others suggest that the name comes from the Russian word “chary”, meaning “charms” or “magic”.
Charoite beads are a striking mixture of purple, lavender, white, gray and black. Charoite also often contains inclusions of the golden yellow mineral Tinaksite. Similar to Lapis Lazuli, Charoite is actually a rock with many components.
Metaphysically, charoite is believed to help its wearer convert negativity into positive energy. Charoite is said to benefit the crown chakra.
