Japanese glass Miyuki beads are known for their uniform shape and quality. They are ideal for consistent bead weaving texture and multiple passes of fine beading thread, such as Fireline and Nymo.

Miyuki cube beads are great for bead weaving as their flat sides allow them to sit comfortably next to each other in patterns.

Square beads also work well when used in brick, peyote, and herringbone stitches
