Our ever growing range of precious metal wire is available in two different hardnesses, two different finishes Sterling Silver & Gold-Filled and seven different gauge weights!

"Dead-Soft" wire is very pliable & can be easily bent into any number of shapes. It will not hold a shape in instances where it would be subject to tension, such as on a clasp.

"Half-Hard" wire is pliable, but unlike "Dead-Soft" wire, it will maintain an intricate shape under tension."
